I had to say something here about Family Dog. It's one of my all-time favorite animations. It just crazy fun (especially when the puppy is so full he can barely move...) but the characters, story and the designs are just so lovely. The staging of the shots are really nice too, like from the dog's POV and watch for the 360 that just never ends... amazing cinematic storytelling. Think of the planning that took in 2D?
So, if you haven't see the pilot? Get it...!!! The pilot was written by Brad Bird, but he left...once it became a full fledged show. So, the actual series isn't as good, in my opinion. It's full of Tim Burton designs, of course - and you can tell when you see the family...Just fantastic.
