I had to totally redo a shot because they had re-edited the sequence ...and it was his way of saying thank you.
Hell, I didn't care, I was just so happy to be animating!!!
Stuart Little was one of my most favorite shows, because it was a sequel. When you work on a sequels everyone KNOWS who (the character) IS! In this case - the mouse - had already been through one movie and so the art direction on Stuart Little 2 was tight. Normally, sequels are not as good as the original movie; but I think in this case the sequel was better. Although the cats were funnier in the first, maybe?
Another great thing about working on a sequel as an animator is that the rig was solid.

When you have a rig that is so easy to use,
it just makes your job as an animator, so clear.
But, most importantly, Rob Minkoff was an animator, so he understood what blocking out a shot was and that is so valuable when you work with directors that do not.
